MYGS uses the "GameChanger" app for scheduling and team communication. GameChanger is the easiest and preferred way for coaches and parents to communicate.
Download the GameChanger app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

For Coaching Staff - Importing Your Team From Sports Connect
Before importing your team, you must download the GameChanger app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Additionally, the following requirements must be true:
- You are using the same email address for GameChanger that you use for Sports Connect
- Your team's roster is "posted" to the Sports Connect website.
- You are an allocated volunteer for your team on the Sports Connect site.
Steps:
1. Sign into GameChanger using the same email address that you use for the MYGS website.
2. Tap Create Team or the "+" sign to create a new team.
3. Choose the option to Import SportsConnect.
4. If you have not already confirmed your email address, click Open Email App which will direct you to your email.
5. Select Confirm Email Address, and you'll be redirected back to the GameChanger app.
6. Select the team to import. Make sure the team you want to import have a check next to it.
7. Tap import in the upper corner of the screen.
To add Family contacts
Team Staff members and existing Family contacts can invite family contacts of a Player in the app. Family members can RSVP on behalf of a player, see the schedule, and access team messages.
Steps:
1. Tap the Home tab and tap the team your player is on.
2. Tap the Team tab.
3. Tap the Player.
4. Tap Contacts.
5. Tap Add Family Contact.
6. Type the family member's email address, or search your contacts for their email address.
7. Tap Add.
Existing users of GameChanger are automatically added as a Family contact of the player. New users will be invited to create a GameChanger account. After creating their account, they will automatically be linked to the team and player.
Team Messaging
Coaches, Team Managers, Parents, & Players can send and receive messages directly from the GameChanger app. Team Messaging makes it easier for the entire team to stay on the same page and up to date with any last minutes changes.
Every newly confirmed team member (staff, family, player) is automatically added to the team channel, and anyone who leaves the team is removed. You will also be notified with a push notification when something new is posted.
Coaches and team members are able to message the entire team, certain groups, or individuals within a team.
Team messaging is available inside the app on the bottom toolbar of the home screen. Users must download the app to use the messaging feature. You can also message individual team members from their profiles.
Message Custom Groups
1. Tap the Messages tab in the GameChanger app.
2. Tap the box with the pencil in it.
3. Choose the team you want to message.
4. Select which members you want to message, and tap "next".
